Who we are
The farm is located in Franciacorta on the hills of Rodengo Saiano, inside the Parco delle Colline, in the heart of ten hectares of wood, in the locality of Valzina. The excellence of the site is expressed in the excellent cuisine, as an expression of the genuineness of the products, in the hospitality of the elegantly furnished rooms, with rooms and mini-apartments and last but not least in the natural characteristics of the area which can be appreciated from the marvelous panorama and from the enchanting walks in the woods.
Immersed in greenery
The Casa Adea farmhouse , a tourist activity of the Green Sun farm , is located in the southernmost stretch of the Brescian alpine system in a splendid hilly area more than three hundred meters high. The hill originates from the lifting and corrugation of the earth’s crust produced by the collision between the great plates of ancient Africa and ancient Europe which took place about 130 million years ago. The rocks present were originally sediments deposited in the sea which for millions of years was present in the area occupied by the Alps and are made up of limestone rich in flint and marl deriving from marine mud.
The structure is inside a wood composed mainly of Hop Hornbeam, Downy Oak, Chestnut, Robinia, Medlar, Mulberry, Field and Mountain Maple, Field Elm, Manna Ash, Tremolo and Hackberry. In the undergrowth you can admire the Sanguinella, the Hawthorn, the Dog Rose, the Butcher’s Broom, the Juniper, the Hazel, the Black Pear, the Baccarello, the Lantana, the Scotano and the Elder. Furthermore, over the course of the seasons, the bright colors of Anemones, Scilla, Cyclamen, Snowdrops, Violets and Bluebells can brighten the walk.

The excellence of the property is expressed in the excellent cuisine , as an expression of the genuineness of the products, in the hospitality of the elegantly furnished rooms characterized by a combination of rustic / modern interiors, with rooms , mini-apartments and a large terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside , which reveals all the natural characteristics of the vast territory, which can be appreciated from the marvelous panorama and from the enchanting walks in the woods.
The environment is also ideal for guests , offering the opportunity to stroll in the large green spaces where there are also goats, horses, donkeys, geese and ducks.

Organic production
The activity of the farm turns its attention to the cultivation of olive trees with more than seven hundred plants, to the cultivation of vegetables in about four thousand meters of vegetable garden, to the collection of fruit with cherries, black cherries, plums, apricots, figs and persimmons in late season .
The cultivation methods are organic and   of particular value, the production of extra virgin olive oil . Other attention is paid to breeding , in fact there are goats, pigs, geese, hens, rabbits, guinea fowl, turkeys, ducks. Consequently the production of highly genuine meats such as, for example, salami, cotechino, loin, flake, lard and many other specialties.
The union between the environmental reality, the attention to the agricultural activity, the receptive professionalism and the elegance of the environments make Casa Adea a unique structure in Franciacorta.
